F.A.Q. 

1. Problems Logging and Approving Minutes

Please remember to log and approve all minutes by 9PM on the Sunday of each week.  If you forget to approve your child’s minutes by the above dates their minutes will rollover to the next week. If you forget to log minutes simply log their minutes from the last week on the current weeks log. 

NO MORE MINUTES MAY BE LOGGED after 9pm on March 31st.

2. Registering Issues 

Please make sure your child is registered! If minutes are logged and approved, but no teacher is assigned, your student may not receive credit. Make sure you go to the PTA website at https://challengerpta.ourschoolpages.com/ and check your student’s teacher and grade. If it’s incorrect it must be corrected before March 6th. 

 

3. Instructions for Registering and Entering Minutes on the PTA Website

To register for Eager Reader - go to the Eager Reader Home Page and follow the directions.  

 

4. How do students log minutes read? (Student Reading Log Password is: Comets)

  1. Click the “Eager Reader” icon on the homepage
  2. Click on the Eager Reader “Student Reading Log” icon
  3. Enter in your name and select your grade and teacher
  4. Log minutes
  5. Save changes
  6. Parent/guardian will receive an email to confirm minutes read

 

5. How do parents approve minutes read?

  1. Parent/guardian will receive an email to confirm minutes read
  2. Click the “Eager Reader” icon on the homepage
  3. Click on the Eager Reader “Parent Approval” icon
  4. Sign in
  5. Select the student you would like to approve minutes for
  6. Approve all pending minutes for your student. Minutes will not be counted unless approved by parent/guardian.
  7. You DO NOT have to wait for a notification email to approve minutes. Log in anytime to approve any “pending" minutes.
  8. Be sure to check your junk mail!
